The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm is located on 40 acres of secluded land near Grass Valley, California, about fifty miles north of Sacramento. If you come to the ashram by public transportation, you can arrange to be picked up from the Amtrak station in Auburn. More information about transportation is here.

The ashram is located at about 2000 foot elevation in the Sierra foothills, where temperatures can reach the high 90s in the summer and drop just below freezing in the winter.
