Ayurveda is a branch of the traditional vedic sciences and one of the oldest medical systems in the world. As it is based on yogic principals, ayurvedic treatments are a natural complement to yoga practice. It takes the philosophy, principles and practices of Yoga and applies them to the healing of body and mind through diet, herbs and massage.

A beautifully relaxing and luxurious full body treatment. Includes Abhyanga, a herbal oil massage; followed by Shirodhara, a soothing steady stream of herbal oil poured gently onto the forehead directly over the third eye, calming and purifying the mind. Last comes Swedhana, a full-body herbal steam treatment, which helps the oil and herbs penetrate the body, nourish the skin and remove toxins.
Ayurveda advises a cleansing mono-diet based on a balanced, healing food known as Kitchari (basmati rice, split mung beans, ghee and spices). It is an ideal cleansing diet for the digestive system and helps remove toxins and allergens from the body. Kitchari supplies the needed food for energy, vitamins and minerals while gently cleansing and toning the system.
