Retreat Details

Detoxifying in Spring and Fall are an important part of the Ayurvedic seasonal routine - disease prevention and wellness are the natural result of regular seasonal cleanses. Join us for a special cleansing diet week, using kitcheree, which is nutritious and at the same time gives a break to the digestive system.

You'll find fasting easier in a spiritual environment with like-minded people. It is also extremely beneficial to have all the supporting therapies offered in the retreat - yoga, pranayama, relaxation, sauna, walks in nature, meditation and most of all, rest and quiet.

The tuition price includes daily workshops and lectures on Ayurveda and health, an Ayurvedic consultation and Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Sirodhara and Swedhana. Please book in advance for the therapies. Click here for more information on the therapies.

Durga (Cathy O'Neil) is an ayurvedic specialist. She graduated from the California College of Ayurveda and has trained extensively in India. She is also the director of the Yoga of Recovery Retreat and Course. The massage therapists are all graduates of the California College of Ayurveda.
