The Yoga Farm is happy to present an insightful and inspiring 5 days during the Independence day weekend. We hope that you can attend in parts or fully.

It will be during the auspicious Full Moon dedicated to the Guru (Guru Purnima) when millions celebrate the presence of their Guru in their life who lead them from "darkness to light, and from ignorance to wisdom".  There will be a puja ceremony remembering the Gurus - Master Sivanadna and Swami Vishnudevanandaji -  who have been the inspiration behind the dynamic activities and ceaseless educational endeavors of the Yoga Farm. May their Lights keep guiding the way to many in the years to come.

Retreat Description

During this week, we invite you to refresh your perspective about your own life by examining the root causes of this birth and the karmic baggage we come with in this life -  through the help of Jyotish- the science of Vedic Astrology.

Jyotishi Bill Levacy,  president of ACVA (American College of Vedic Astrology) will discuss the question of Karma, Destiny and Reincarnation. Inspire yourself with enthusiastic insights about life after life shared by the dying or those who have encountered Near Death Experience through the testimony of Elissa Al-Chokhachy, a hospic nurse for many years, and author of the book Miraculous Moments. Contemplating one's Mortality and Death gives perspective and apreciation to Life, according to Dr. Don Oyao.  According to Swami Sivananda lif is a journey from Imperfection to Perfection, and from fear of Death to the experience of Immortality.  Uma Reed in concert on July 4 will lift up our hearts and bring us to the realm of Peace, Love  and Joy. Krishna Darshan will share with us the teachings from scripture of the journey after leaving the body. A glorious future is awaiting you. Togerther, let's demystify Life and Death and lead a meaningful Life, knowing the Truth.

Detailed Schedule

Topic of Bill Levacy

Is Destiny Negotiable?—Correcting Karma with Jyotish Remedial Measures -Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, said that Fate was the hand of cards you were dealt and Destiny is how you play them. Vedic astrology not only helps a person understand what they might have been dealt in life as a result of previous actions, but it also offers a set of remedial procedures to help a person act in a way that can bring new outcomes in life. The class will introduce the fundamentals of remedial measures and how they might be applied in a general way.
